Puzzlegram — Privacy Policy
Puzzlegram is a sliding-tile puzzle game for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. The short version: your puzzles, photos and progress stay on your device; the only data that leaves it is what Apple needs to process purchases and what Google needs to show ads in the free version.
Information the app stores on your device
- Game progress — solved levels, coins, streaks, hints used, your chosen display name and language, sound and reminder settings. Stored locally on the device and never uploaded by us.
- Your photos — when you turn a photo into a puzzle or set a profile picture, you pick it through the system photo picker. The app only receives the photo you choose, never your whole library, and keeps a reduced-size copy on the device for the puzzle and the solved-puzzle gallery. Delete a solved puzzle in the app to remove its copy.
- Local reminders — if you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a notification on your device. No push server is involved.
Purchases
In-app purchases and the Puzzle Club subscription are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no card details or personal information from a purchase; the app only learns which products the App Store says you own so it can unlock them. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
Advertising (free version)
Until you buy Puzzlegram Pro, remove ads, or join Puzzle Club, the app shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). To do that, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:
- device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking when iOS asks;
- an approximate location derived from your IP address;
- ad interaction data (which ads were shown, viewed or tapped) and app performance and crash diagnostics.
Google uses this to serve and measure ads and, where permitted, to personalise them. Google's own practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Your choices. On first launch the app asks for permission to track via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; declining means ads are not personalised using your identifier. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you also see a consent form before any ad is requested, and you can change that choice any time from the "Ad privacy options" row on the Profile screen. Residents of U.S. states with privacy laws can use the same row to opt out of the sale or sharing of their data. Buying any ad-free product stops ad requests entirely.
Analytics
The app has no third-party analytics SDK and sends no usage events to us.
Children
Puzzlegram is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and deletion
Everything the app stores lives on your device and is removed when you delete the app. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained under Google's policies linked above.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
